Handcrafted from richly figured Moroccan Thuya burl, this exceptional jewelry box is covered in an intricate geometric marquetry composition combining natural mother-of-pearl and contrasting ebony.

Every individual element of the pattern is cut, fitted and polished by hand. The density of the marquetry, the natural variation of the Thuya burl and the many hours of artisan work make this piece impossible to reproduce exactly.

This is not simply a jewelry box. It is a singular piece of Moroccan craftsmanship created to be used, admired and eventually passed on.

THE CRAFT

The geometric mosaic is assembled entirely by hand. Each component is individually cut and precision-fitted before the surface is carefully polished to reveal the depth, warmth and distinctive grain of the Thuya burl.

Because the wood itself is naturally unique, no two pieces can ever carry exactly the same grain, tone or character.
