These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and your purchase of products and services from Thuya Heritage. By visiting our website, placing an order, or using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. ABOUT THUYA HERITAGE

Thuya Heritage offers handcrafted Moroccan Thuya wood pieces, including jewelry boxes, furniture, home décor, architectural pieces, and custom-made creations.

Our products are handcrafted in Morocco using natural materials. Because of the nature of wood and handmade craftsmanship, each piece may have unique variations in grain, color, pattern, texture, dimensions, and finish. These natural variations are part of the character of the product and are not considered defects.

2. PRODUCT INFORMATION

We make reasonable efforts to present our products, photographs, descriptions, dimensions, materials, and prices as accurately as possible.

Colors and appearance may vary slightly depending on lighting, photography, screen settings, natural wood characteristics, and the handmade production process.

For handmade products, minor variations between the product shown and the piece received may occur.

3. AVAILABILITY

Products displayed on our website may be available in limited quantities or produced individually.

We reserve the right to discontinue a product or modify product availability when necessary.

If an item becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we will contact the customer and provide an appropriate solution.

4. PRICES AND PAYMENT

Prices are displayed in the currency shown on our website at the time of purchase.

Customers are responsible for reviewing the total order amount before completing payment.

Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.

Any customs duties, import taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country are the responsibility of the customer unless expressly stated otherwise during checkout.

5. CUSTOM ORDERS

Custom-made pieces are produced according to specifications agreed upon between Thuya Heritage and the customer.

Customers may provide measurements, drawings, photographs, reference images, or other information required to study their project.

Before production begins, we may provide a proposed design, specifications, estimated production time, and final price for approval.

For custom commissions, a 40% deposit may be required after the design and project details have been approved.

The remaining 60% may be required before shipment, according to the payment schedule agreed upon for the project.

Production will begin only after the required approval and initial payment have been received.

Changes requested after production has begun may affect the price and completion time and may not always be possible.

Because custom pieces are made specifically for the customer, cancellation and return rights may be limited where permitted by applicable law.

6. PRODUCTION TIMES

Ready-made and custom-made products may have different processing times.

Any production estimate communicated for a custom project is an estimate based on the complexity and specifications of the piece.

We will make reasonable efforts to respect agreed timelines and communicate significant changes when they occur.

7. SHIPPING

Thuya Heritage ships from Morocco and serves international customers.

Orders may be shipped using reliable international or national carriers depending on the destination, product dimensions, value, and shipping requirements.

Shipping times are estimates and may be affected by customs processing, carrier delays, weather, public holidays, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

8. DELIVERY INFORMATION

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information.

Thuya Heritage is not responsible for delays or additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.

If a parcel appears damaged upon delivery, customers should photograph the package and product and contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

9. RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Returns, cancellations, and refunds are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.

Due to the personalized nature of custom-made products, different conditions may apply to custom orders where permitted by law.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The content of this website, including our branding, original photographs, text, product presentations, graphics, and original designs, may be protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, commercially exploit, or use protected Thuya Heritage content without authorization, except where permitted by law.

11. PROHIBITED USE

You may not use our website or services for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or unauthorized purposes, or in a manner that interferes with the operation or security of the website.

12. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Certain parts of our store may rely on services provided by third parties, including payment processors, shipping carriers, and technology providers.

Their services may be subject to their own terms and policies.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Thuya Heritage will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights where such exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.
